S. Luke Berthelsen DPM, D.ABFAS, FACFAS
Dr. Berthelsen is passionate about providing excellent foot and ankle care. He is a board-certified reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. His goal is to develop a treatment plan for your foot and ankle problems that best addresses your lifestyle and goals. Dr. Berthelsen specializes in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgical techniques. He also performs complex reconstructive surgery for diabetic patients with severe deformities. Dr. Berthelsen takes great pride in his work and treats all his patients with the utmost care and empathy.
Dr. Nicklaus Nishijima
Dr. Nicklaus Nishijima is an American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons board-qualified podiatric physician and surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive foot and ankle care. Originally from Clovis, California, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine. He went on to graduate with honors from the California School of Podiatric Medicine, where he was acknowledged by the Pi Delta National Podiatry Honor Society.
Dr. Nishijima completed his residency at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas, specializing in foot and ankle surgery treating a variety of pathologies ranging from diabetic foot care, arthritis, bunions, sports injuries and trauma. He is committed to helping patients return to healthy, active lifestyles through both surgical and nonsurgical treatments, with an emphasis on compassionate, personalized care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Nishijima enjoys golfing, trying new restaurants, snorkeling, and traveling, as well as spending time with his wife and their dog.
